My unforgettable DTS experience
"DTS really taught me more about who God is and how that applies to my
life.
It stretches your mind alot, and challenges what you truly believe.
Having
completed a DTS I definately feel more equipped for living a "missional"
life, what that truly means, and where my future lies. I would recommend
everyone does a DTS, even if it's simply to experience living in a
community
of people with the same focus of delving more into God."

"My DTS was an incredible experience. I encountered God in a way that I never had before.
It challenged me in ways that I didn't know were possible. I came to my DTS thinking that
I had it all together and that I knew what to expect.. But I quickly realized how wrong I
was. All of a sudden your life is no longer about you and what you want to do with it.
Your eyes are opened to the reality of the needs in the world and you are challenged to do
something about it. But DTS is about more than just mission. I think that DTS better
prepares you for life in general. You learn what it really means to genuinely love people.
You learn how to interact and relate to people that you might not normally associate with,
and you learn how to work together in unity with them. I learned so much about God and I
learned just as much about myself. If I had to use one word to describe DTS, it would be
exposure. A DTS exposes all of your hidden belief systems and world-views that you might
have been previously unaware of. It exposes people for who they really are, with no room
for fakeness. And it exposes you to the needs of the world and gives you a greater
awareness of the people and cultures in it. Doing a DTS is possibly the best decision
that I've made in my life... Actually--- it is."
